I’m Sita, a family and couples photographer based in Mauritius. I’m most at home documenting the easy, unposed moments that tell the truth about how you love. Over the years I’ve photographed hundreds of families from all over the world, and what I cherish most is creating images that help you remember not just what this season looked like, but how it felt..

A Little of My Story

I’ve spent my life chasing stories, from my days as a TV producer in Los Angeles to coordinating an arts & cultural festival in Ireland, to my current adventures with my Irish husband and our three big kids on the West Coast of Mauritius, our chosen home. As a mother of 3 awesome big kids, I know the value of a fleeting moments and I bring that understanding to every session, creating a relaxed, enjoyable and meaningful experience that feels effortless.

My Approach to Photography

My work is rooted in connection, gentle guidance, and a deep appreciation for the stories families carry with them. Whether we’re wandering a quiet corner of the West Coast or playing by the water at sunset, I photograph in a way that allows people to relax and just be who they are.

What Matters to Me

I’m drawn to the tenderness amidst the chaos of family life…the laughter, the comfort, the love, the unrushed, imperfect moments. I believe that photos should take you back to that feeling, and that the images we pass down become small anchors for the people we love most.

The booking and planning process is simple and your family photo session will be relaxed, well-guided, and completely centered on the people you love. I keep the mood light, help with posing when needed, and create space for genuine connection. Most families tell me the photos feel true to them - natural, warm, and filled with the little moments they never want to forget.

A Bit About Life in Mauritius

I live in Tamarin with my husband and three kids, and I love meeting families from all over the world who come here to celebrate their own chapter. Mauritius is a beautiful place to call home, and it means a lot to share its beaches, forests, quiet mornings and stunning sunsets with the people I photograph. When I’m not shooting or editing, you can find me under the sea saying “hello” to my fish friends or walking on the beach at sunset and getting excited that it’s almost bedtime :)
